Nottingham Law School is one of the largest university Law schools in the UK. We offer a full range of courses covering all areas of legal education including: undergraduate and law conversion, postgraduate, including Masters in Law, for those intending to follow a legal career, and practitioner courses which provide further training and professional development for practising lawyers.

The School is based in the Belgrave Centre on Chaucer Street, part of the Nottingham Trent University city site and close to the centre of Nottingham.
The teaching and studying facilities are of a high standard and include dedicated teaching rooms, electronic law library and access to the university’s virtual learning environment. We offer full-time, part-time and distance learning study modes to suit student needs.

With over 100 full-time lecturers and 2,800 students, the School has a lot to offer. Many of our staff receive prestigious awards or appointments. Rebecca Huxley-Binns, who teaches on the undergraduate programmes, is currently Law Teacher of the Year. We have a thriving research community, many of whom have international recognition as leading researchers in their field. Our researchers are particularly active in corporate, insolvency and health law and the Law School is hosting the International Insolvency Law Conference in September 2010.
